Consent and Authorization
By submitting this application, I confirm that the information provided is true, complete and accurate, and I authorize TruCapital Finance & Leasing Ltd. ("TruCapital") to do the following in connection with arranging commercial financing or leasing for the business named in this application:
1. Submission to financing sources. To collect, use and disclose the information in this application, and any supporting documents and information I later provide, to banks, credit unions, private lenders, leasing companies and other financing sources TruCapital considers appropriate, for the purpose of seeking financing or leasing on my or my business's behalf, and to communicate with those parties about the application.
2. Credit information. To obtain, from time to time, consumer and commercial credit reports and credit information about me, my business, and any guarantor, from credit reporting agencies and other credit grantors, and to disclose information to those agencies as permitted by law, for the purposes of evaluating, placing, funding and administering this application and any resulting financing. I understand that financing sources to which my application is submitted may also obtain their own credit information under their own separate authorization.
3. Identity verification and fraud prevention. To verify my identity and the accuracy of the information provided, including by exchanging information with financing sources, credit reporting agencies, identity verification services, references, vendors, dealers, insurers, and public and commercial registries, and to use that information to detect and prevent fraud and misrepresentation.
4. Information about others. Where I have provided information about another individual — including a guarantor, co-applicant, business partner, reference, or seller — I confirm that I have that individual's knowledge and consent to provide their information for these purposes.
5. Communications. To contact me by telephone, email, text message or mail about this application and any resulting financing, including requests for documents, status updates, lender conditions and funding arrangements. I understand these are service communications relating to my application and are separate from any marketing consent.
I acknowledge that: TruCapital is not a lender or lessor and does not make credit decisions; credit, approval, pricing, structure and funding decisions are made solely by the financing source under its own criteria; TruCapital does not guarantee that this application will be approved, that financing will be offered on any particular terms, or that any timeline will be met; any figures, ranges or estimates provided are illustrative only and are not offers of credit; and once my information has been submitted to a financing source or other third party, that party handles it under its own privacy practices, which TruCapital does not control.
I may withdraw this consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual restrictions, by contacting TruCapital's Privacy Officer. Withdrawal is not retroactive and may mean TruCapital can no longer act on my behalf. This authorization applies in addition to TruCapital's Privacy Policy.
